U.S.-inspired Hancock's to open three new sites within the year
The new restaurants will reportedly create some 75 new full and part time jobs.
Hancock's plans to mark the first anniversary of its American Kitchen and Bar concept in Chatham by securing three addtional sites across the South East in Camberley, Maidstone and Eastley.
The new sites, which vary from 3000 to 4000 square feet, is expected to provide seating for up to 150 guests and will create some 75 new full and part time jobs.
“Hancock’s in Chatham was originally conceived as a standalone restaurant, offering an American inspired menu which amongst other things features selections including Chicken and Ribs smoked on site, Steaks, Dirty Dogs, Gumbo and Fajitas, all served in a fun environment where cocktails flow and everyone’s welcome," Hancock's director David Chick said.
"What the past twelve months have shown is that this is a winning concept, enjoyed by practically every demographic group so embarking on a managed and manageable expansion programme is the logical next step.”
The Camberley outlet is scheduled to open in August at The Atrium on Park Street while the Kent and Hampshire restaurants set to be unveiled in September.
