200 Degrees to open Sheffield site on June 4
This is now the coffee brand’s seventh site in England.
Furthering its aim to be recognised for their speciality coffee, 200 Degrees announced its plans to expand in the Sheffield city centre to offer their handcrafted fresh food and artisan coffee.
Opening on June 4, the 83-seater coffee shop on Division Street is the brand’s seventh site in England after establishing themselves in two coffee shops in Nottingham and shops in Birmingham, Leeds, Leicester and Cardiff.
“Division Street was an easy choice for us as it has loads of character, is surrounded by interesting shops and local businesses. It’s just the sort of place we look for. We are lucky to have built up a loyal following in the cities we operate in and we hope to create the same in Sheffield; a vibrant city that has a thriving business community, considerable creative hub and two great universities,” 200 Degrees co-founder and director Tom Vincent said.
With coffee shops now selling over a million drinks annually, 200 Degrees also confirmed it has further plans to open in other towns and cities across the UK.
“We have big plans for our shops as well as our wholesale offering; providing our coffee for people’s homes and places of work. We want to bring our handcrafted approach to as many people and places as possible and we’re proud and excited to be a part of Sheffield’s food and drink culture,” Vincent added.
