Boparan-owned Slim Chickens to set up first Ireland location
The first Slim Chicken’s restaurant will open in Belfast Boucher Square.
Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG) acquired its first franchise partner, OCO Westend, to open its first Slim Chickens site in Ireland.
The restaurant, which is its 30th site globally, will open on Belfast Boucher Square on 11 October.
BRG CEO Satnam Leihal said: “Slim Chickens is a highly scalable brand and we are delighted to have secured an experienced operator that gives us a foothold in Ireland. We have ambitious plans to open more sites in Belfast and look forward to working with OCO West End to bring Slim Chickens’ unique Southern hospitality to Ireland.”
The new 2,800 square feet restaurant will feature exposed brick and industrial beams.
Offered are the restaurant’s signature buttermilk-marinated, hand-breaded tenders and 14 house-made sauces alongside freshly prepared salads, sandwiches, buffalo wings, wraps and waffles as well as sides of mac & cheese, fried pickles and Texas toast.
