Bread Ahead to open new Soho site in January
The new Beak Street site will be serving two regularly rotating salads, available to eat in or takeaway.
On January 5th, Bread Ahead will open its latest bakery and café on Beak street in Soho. The new site will offer a selection of breads, pastries and classic bakes, as well as hot breakfasts and a new menu of savoury dishes for lunch.
Seating up to 60 people, the bakery and café features a minimalist black exterior that opens into a light filled, turquoise interior for the wooden furniture inside. Designed in collaboration with Lisa Helmanis, the rear of the restaurant features a seating area, similar to the Mayfair pop-up, with hues of burnt gold velvet and red.
Bread Ahead Beak Street will be open seven days a week, and operate as a sit down café, serving hot breakfast, lunch and hot and cold drinks from 7am through to 7pm (10am on
Sundays). The breakfast offering at Bread Ahead will include a variety of savoury and sweet dishes, including more options such as the Croque Monsieur, Brioche French toast with jam, honey and icing sugar, or bacon and syrup.
Bread Ahead will also be offering a selection of ‘free from’ dishes, including their gluten free* waffles (made with chestnut flour) with almond milk yoghurt, berries and compote. Breakfast will be followed by a selection of sandwiches for lunch, served in a variety of Bread Ahead’s classic breads such as sourdough, ciabatta and brioche.
