Burger King franchisee teams up with FreedomMusic for in-store music and messaging
Karali Group, which owns and operates more than 60 Burger King restaurants across the UK, named FreedomMusic as the supplier of overhead music and messaging to all their restaurants.
With some restaurants and cafes paying as much as £3,000 per year in PRS (Performing Rights Society) and PPL (Phonographic Performance Limited) licence fees, The Karali Group made the commercial decision to use licence included music.
Noreen Smith, Head of Operations for Karali Group, said, “We were really impressed with the quality of the music from FreedomMusic. I genuinely couldn’t believe that licence included music could sound so good!”
Karali’s Burger King restaurants now have day-parted playlists that reflect the morning, lunchtime, and evening moods.
“Combining the music day-parting feature with FreedomMusic’s brand bespoke messaging has helped us perfect our restaurant customer experience,” said Smith.
FreedomMusic founder Nick Findlay said, "Some of the creative licence that Karali Group gave us on the Burger King messages was fantastic! Our award-winning creative team delivered some really whacky, effective, and attention grabbing messages that were really well received by Karali Group.”
