Doner Shack signs 150-store deal in India
This marks its largest market deal to date.
Doner Shack has announced a deal with FranGlobal, an Indian franchising solutions firm, to expand its presence in India, marking its largest market deal to date with the signing of a 150-lisense agreement.
“I know India’s franchise sector extremely well and recognise there is a prominent place for Doner Shack within it,” said Gaurav Marya, chairman and founder of FranGlobal.
“This deal is huge for Doner Shack as a brand, and we can’t wait to see the first of many restaurants open in the region,” Sanj Sanghera, co-founder of Doner Shack, added.
Doner Shack’s key customer target demographic is aged between 18 and 34, and with 65% of Indians under 35 years old, it makes them a prime market for the brand.
India’s QSR market size is estimated at US$25.46b in 2024 and is expected to reach US$38.71b by 2029.
