El Mexicana opens at South West shopping centre

The new restaurant will expand the shopping centre’s retail opening.

Property management firm Peel L&P has announced that El Mexicana, the authentic Mexican eatery, has signed at a premier outlet and dining destination in the South West, Gloucester Quays.

The menu will consist of Mexican favourites, from burritos to quesadillas and nachos, as well as sweet treats in the form of freshly made churros, suitable for quick grab-and-go lunch as well as dinner.

El Mexicana will be launching in the coming months, having taken a 600 sq ft unit adjacent to The Real Greek. The new space forms part of a key gateway to Gloucester Quays’ wider retail offer, and diversifies the cuisines on offer at the destination.

The news of El Mexicana signing at Gloucester Quays follows a strong 12-month period for the shopping centre with record-breaking sales in 2022.
