Island Poké opens new site in Shoreditch
This is their largest site to date.
Island Poké has announced that they launched their sixth site in Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch.
The store, which has 17 covers, serves house bowls such as their Classic Ahi which has Ahi Tuna Shoyu, pineapple chili salsa, wakame seaweed, and crispy onion and sesame seeds on a bed of sushi rice. It also allows guests to build their own Bespoké bowl where they can choose from different bases, fish and toppings.
The design pays homage to the South Pacific with signature island poke swings, neon signs, reclaimed wood floors, panelling and wall murals.
“Our site in Shoreditch brings our fight to shake up the grab and go market to the frontline. It’s right on Great Eastern Street, across the road from Pret, Pod and Itsu who have dominated the area recently,” James Gould-Porter, founder of Island Poké, said.
