Jollibee to open 25 more stores in the UK by 2023
The news came following the opening of their first store in the country.
Jollibee has announced that they are eyeing the launch of 25 UK stores in the next five years which is half of their planned 50 site openings across Europe.
The Philippines-based chicken chain has mentioned that they will be launching in New York City and Malaysia before the year ends. They are also targeting Rome and Guam.
They are also looking to further expand in the US and Canada as well. This is said to be driven by their double-digit sales growth last 2017.
“Europe is a key growth market for us at Jollibee. We opened our first store in Milan last March, and it has been packed with customers,” Ernesto Tanmantiong, CEO of Jollibee Foods Corporation, said.
“We are excited to open our first store in London and see the same kind of success with customers coming back over and over for their fill of Chickenjoy and Jolly Spaghetti.”
