Jollibee to open second restaurant in Liverpool

The site is eyed to be the chain’s flagship branch in the North of England”.

Philippine fast food chain Jollibee is planning to open its second UK restaurant in Liverpool.

Bee World UK Ltd, part of the chain’s parent company Jollibee Foods Corporation, has filed plans to transform the former Lush store on Whitechapel into the eatery’s second UK site.

In documents submitted to Liverpool City Council, Jollibee said the Liverpool restaurant would be the “flagship branch in the North of England”.

The Philippine conglomerate expects the project to create 70 jobs in the town centre.

Jollibee opened its first UK site in Earl’s Court in October 2018.
