Kung Fu Mama opens Taiwanese noodle spot in Canary Wharf
To mark the launch, all noodle dishes are 50% off from 20–27 March with a special code.
Taiwanese noodle bar Kung Fu Mama is set to open a new location in Canary Wharf on 20 March, bringing its Taiwanese-style sun-dried noodles and street food-inspired menu to Jubilee Place.
The brand first opened in Covent Garden in April 2025. To celebrate the launch, all noodle dishes will be offered at half price from 20 to 27 March using a special code.
The menu centres on hand-folded, sun-dried noodles with a firm, springy texture.
Dishes combine traditional Taiwanese flavours with a focus on healthier cooking.
Offerings include noodle bowls such as Peanut & Sesame Chicken, Chicken with Ginger & Sesame, 12-hour Beef with Szechuan Pepper, Portobello Mushroom with Romano Pepper, and Traditional Beef Noodle Soup.
Bao sandwiches—meant to be eaten like burgers—include Oven-Baked Chicken, Ginger and Sesame Chicken, and Soft-Shell Crab versions.
Sides include Mixed Greens, Cucumber Salad, and Wood-Ear Mushroom Salad.
Desserts feature Taiwanese night market items like Mango Shaved Ice Cream and Pineapple Pie.
The new Canary Wharf outlet will maintain the design-focused, playful style of the Covent Garden location, including a custom font by Scott Wittman and a mural reflecting founder Chris Hsu’s Taiwanese culinary roots.
