LEON set to open first site in Ireland
The upcoming Dublin site is part of a plan to roll out 20 sites across the country by 2023.
LEON is officially set to arrive in Ireland, following their announcement of their first restaurant in Dublin.
The Irish expansion resulted from a new franchise partnership with Cibus Concepts Limited, which was incorporated by Stuart Fitzgerald and Brian McIntyre to operate the LEON franchise in Ireland.
The upcoming Dublin restaurant is expected to offer LEON classics including the Moroccan Meatballs and The Fish Finger Wrap.
This also marks the start of the franchise group's plan to roll out 20 restaurants across Irish cities by 2023.
"The LEON offering is completely different from anything available in Ireland and Irish people are going to love it. In Ireland we're famous for enjoying a bit of fun and having the craic, but even the Irish haven't yet managed to make fast food fun," Fitzgerald said.
"It has for many years, been an ambition of ours to be in Ireland - but we needed to wait until we found Irish partners who can give LEON the love and focus it deserves. Stuart and his team are ‘LEON’ people. They are positive, courageous and like a good time," John Vincent, LEON’s CEO added.
