McDonald's franchisee secures Rutland council's approval on store launch

The East Midland county is the remaining city in England without a McDonald’s branch.

McDonald’s is set to complete its presence across the country after securing the approval of a local council to open a franchised store in Rutland.

The East Midland county is the remaining England city without a McDonald’s branch.

Franchisee Martin Cuthbert will be the one running the first McDonald’s Rutland store in Oakham. He currently operates 11 branches of the fast food giant in the region.
