Pizza Pilgrims to open in Chelsea on 18 November
It is located at 219 King’s Road.
Pizza Pilgrims is set to open its doors on 18 November at 219 King’s Road, Chelsea, designed like a beach bar on the island of Capri.
The ground floor of the pizzeria, with space for 40 guests, features ornate tiles and striped parasols with a ‘Chelsea Flour Show’ arch made entirely of pizza flour bags.
Moreover, its ceiling is designed similarly to Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam from the Sistine Chapel, featuring God and Adam sharing a pizza.
In the basement dining room, which seats 32, customers can find an Amalfi lemon grove under a pergola, where they can drink spritz and enjoy the sound of the sea. Aside from this, the lemon grove can be transformed into Cinema Paradiso’, which is London’s first lemon grove cinema.
A calendar of ticketed screenings will be shown regularly and details will be announced first to subscribers of the Pizza Pilgrims Chelsea newsletter.
The Chelsea menu will reflect their other pizzerias, featuring their Neapolitan-style pizza made with a 72-hour double-fermented dough.
Customers can also avail of the pizzeria’s classics, such as the margherita, fiorentina, the double pepperoni & spicy honey, the 8-cheese pizza, and the carbonara with strands of al dente spaghetti.
