Pod More London site to be converted into Coco di Mama

The store is set to open in early October.

Azzurri Group, the operator of Coco di Mama restaurant chain, has confirmed that the first Pod to be converted into a Coco di Mama outlet will be the More London (London Bridge) site, a spokesperson for the group said.

The said store is set to reopen in early October.

The announcement came after the group acquired Pod through a pre-pack administration after Damian Webb and Allan Kelly of RSM Restructuring Advisory LLP were appointed administrators of Pod Food Limited last 21 June.

Thirteen of pod's restaurants will continue trading, whilst nine will be closed.

“Azzurri acquired 13 Pod sites in June this year with the intention of converting a number of the sites into Coco di Mamaover the following 12 months,” the spokesperson said.
