Pret A Manger draws up plans to open 100 new franchised shops
It also slated to open about 100 company-owned shops in the next three years.
Pret A Manger, which once said the COVID-19 pandemic had caused sales to fall to levels last seen a decade ago, is drawing up plans for 100 new shops nationwide.
The chain is in talks with possible partners to expand outside London, including in drive-thru shops and on high streets. It also slated to open about 100 company-owned shops in the next three years.
Pret recently rowed back on plans to cut staff bonuses after workers threatened strike action. In April, it warned of “material uncertainties” over whether it could continue as a going concern.
Last year, the group permanently closed 74 outlets in the UK.
