Pret A Manger opens first Northern Ireland restaurant
This is the fourth restaurant the fast-casual brand has opened in the region.
Pret A Manger is opening its first Northern Ireland restaurant later this year in Belfast city centre, through its longstanding franchise partner Carebrook Partnership Ltd.
The new restaurant is the fourth one it opened in Ireland. Pret said it plans to open 20 restaurants in the next 10 years across the region.
Opening later this year, locals and visitors to the new shop on Belfast’s Donegall Square West will soon be able to enjoy Pret’s extensive menu of freshly made food and organic coffee. Coffees, teas and other hot and iced drinks will be prepared by trained baristas, while a menu of freshly made sandwiches, salads and hot-food options, alongside snacks, baked goods and cold drinks will also be available.
The new opening will create up to 20 new jobs in the city, with Pret looking to recruit in a number of roles, including Team Members, Managers and Baristas.
Pret now operates in 15 markets on three continents and expects to have over 700 shops worldwide by the end of 2023.
