Pret A Manger opens in Westgate Oxford
The new shop will donate unsold food to homeless organisations in Oxford.
Located at the Westgate Centre, the shop will feature internal and external seating areas for around 100 customers, free Wifi, and will offer Pret’s menu of sandwiches, baguettes, salads, snacks, hot food and sweet treats.
Robert Radi, the general manager of the new store, has worked at Pret for 6 years, most recently managing the shop at 2 Cornmarket Street. “Our fantastic new team are trained and ready, and we’re really excited to open the doors to meet our new customers.”
“As part of Pret’s commitment to help alleviate the pressures of homelessness in the UK, our shop is also very proud to be partnering with Simon House and Ronald McDonald House in Oxford, where we will be donating unsold food at the end of each day. It is great to know that the food we’re hand-making fresh in our shop everyday will not only be enjoyed by customers, but will also be donated to such worthwhile places once we close in the evenings,” he added.
