Shake Shack set to launch at New Oxford Street
The burger brand will open the doors of its New Oxford Street Shack on Friday, 18th of December at 11AM.
Situated in West End, Shake Shack will be located on the ground floor of 80 New Oxford Street, a short walk from the Tottenham Court Road underground station.
“We’re looking forward to deepening our relationships with long-time local producers and connecting with even more Londoners in the community,” said Shake Shack UK Business Director Nigel Sherwood.
“New Oxford Street is thriving, and this is the right time and perfect place to launch our third London Shack.”
The New Oxford Street Shack menu will feature all the Shake Shack offerings including the ShackBurger, SmokeShack and Shack-cago Dog. Also available is the complete craft beer and wine list including Shack exclusives ShackMeister Ale (available on tap and brewed exclusively for Shake Shack by Thornbridge Brewery), Shack Red and Shack White (bottled exclusively for Shake Shack by Lafage in Languedoc-Roussillon, France).
Shake Shack’s frozen custard will be featured in shakes and concretes (frozen custard blended at high speed with mix-ins). The New Oxford Street Shack will include three location specific concretes with mix-ins: the GingerBread Ahead (vanilla custard, gingerbread cake from Bread Ahead Bakery and salted caramel sauce), New Oxford Street Style (chocolate custard, St. JOHN Bakery chocolate hazelnut brownie, peanut butter sauce and banana), and WEST blEND (vanilla custard, strawberry puree, honeycomb candy and marshmallow sauce).
The New Oxford Street Shake Shack has also partnered with local charity organization Centrepoint (whose mission is to provide safe and supportive accommodations for homeless youth) to donate 5% of sales from New Oxford Street Style.
“We can’t thank Shake Shack enough for their generosity and support,” said Centrepoint’s Senior Corporate Development Manager Victoria Parker.
“This is one of the most delicious-sounding fundraising initiatives we’ve ever heard of. The money raised will help us provide young homeless people with a safe roof over their heads as well as the skills they need to live independently.”
