SSP launches Tai Cheong Bakery in Singapore's Changi Airport

The operator also collaborated with Archipelago Brewery to unveil a new concept.

SSP Group announced that it has launched a new Tai Cheong Bakery unit inside Singapore’s Changi Airport.

Located at the airport’s Terminal 3, the unit was tailored to cater to the busy airport environment, with a takeaway counter allowing customers to avail grab-and-go options. This is also the second Tai Cheong Bakery operated by SSP across two countries.

Tai Cheong Bakery has more than 20 outlets across Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.

SSP also launched the Archipelago Craft Brew House, a new concept developed in partnership with the Archipelago Brewery by Asia Pacific Brewery, which has been creating handcrafted, speciality beers in Singapore since 2006.

The Terminal 2 airside bar serves Archipelago Brewery’s range of craft beers, which will change every six to eight months, and are stored in an on-site see-through cold room.

SSP also issued a statement on the re-election of Vagn Sørensen as chairman: “The Board and the senior management team continue to believe that Vagn is a very effective independent Chairman, with extensive experience and knowledge of the business, and that his dedication and leadership have been invaluable, particularly during Simon Smith's transition into the role of CEO, succeeding Kate Swann.”
