Sticks’n’Sushi expands North with new Manchester restaurant
This marks the group’s 17th site in the UK.
Sticks’n’Sushi will open a new restaurant in Manchester’s Spinningfields next spring.
This marks the group’s 17th site in the UK and the latest in its north expansion push, following a recent opening in Glasgow.
The two-storey venue will seat 246 people, with dining areas on the ground floor and mezzanine and an outdoor terrace.
The menu will include sushi, sashimi, salads, and grilled skewers, served à la carte or as set menus.
Dishes such as Ebi Bites—tempura shrimp with miso aioli, lime, and chilli—and the Maki Maki roll selection will feature alongside larger sharing platters like ‘As Good As It Gets,’ which combines handrolls, maki, and sticks.
Grill options include the Japanese classics Shōyu Tebasaki, Gindara No Miso, and Aka Ebi.
Drinks will cover sake, Japanese teas, cocktails, beer, spirits, and a small wine list, including the brand’s own yuzu pale ale.
The company employs around 1,500 people worldwide and expects to add 75 more jobs with the Manchester opening.
