Taco Bell planning to open site in Cardiff: report

This will mark the only Welsh branch of the fast food chain so far.

Taco Bell is set to come to Cardiff, having applied for a licence to open a site on St Mary Street in the capital.

Wales Online reports that the application was made in the name of Campana Ltd with the postal address of the premises listed as Taco Bell at 92 St Mary Street.

It also asked permission to sell alcohol for consumption on and off the premises seven days a week from 10am until midnight, and the provision of "late night refreshment on Monday to Sunday from 11am until 3am.”

Cardiff Council received the application on 15 August and the consultation period lasts until 12 September.
