Tim Hortons eyeing to open first Yorkshire outlet in Birstall Retail Park

The chain has now expanded to a total of 28 units in the UK.

Tim Hortons is proposing to open in West Yorkshire.

The Canadian coffee chain applied for a new store with a drive-through at the Birstall Retail Park between Leeds and Huddersfield.

Tim Hortons' UK's application to Kirklees Council showed it wants to take over the closed Pizza Hut restaurant beside the Showcase de Luxe cinema, which is also next to Starbucks and Krispy Kreme outlets.

If approved, the store would be the first in Yorkshire.
