It earlier confirmed plans to launch restaurants in Reading and Oxford in the coming months.
Wendy’s is set to launch a restaurant in Croydon, the latest development related to its return to the UK market.
The American fast food chain filed plans to open a restaurant on the former Barclays Bank site within Norfolk House at the junction of Wellesley Road and George Street, close to East Croydon station.
The restaurant is spread over two levels and will offer dine-in, takeaway and delivery. It is expected to create 30 full-time jobs, according to the planning application.
Wendy's earlier confirmed plans to launch restaurants in Reading and Oxford in the coming months, part of a five sites expected to open before the end of the year.
