Yolk Brands signs deal with City Restaurants Group to bring BonBird Chicken to the UK

The deal is for 50 restaurants in the next five years.

Dubai-headquartered restaurant group Yolk Brands has signed a deal with UK-based hospitality group ​City Restaurants Group to bring fried chicken brand BonBird Chicken to the UK.

The two plans to open 50 restaurants in the next five years across the UK. The first five is expected to open before the end of the year.

According to Yolk Brands, this marks its largest franchise agreement to date.

Launched in 2023 by UK national Steve Flawith, Founder and CEO of Yolk Brands, BonBird is known for its East London-style community chicken shop vibe, “All bird, no bull” ethos, and uncompromising commitment to premium, hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and preservative-free fried chicken.
