Domino’s Group appoints former Pizza Hut UK director as new board member
He will be joining the Nomination & Governance Committee.
Domino's Pizza Group Plc has appointed Mitesh Patel as an independent non-executive Director, effective from 1 June.
Patel will be a member of the Board's Nomination & Governance Committee.
Patel is the co-founder of Lenstore, an online contact lens business which in 2013 he sold to GrandVision, the world's largest optical retail group at the time and owner of Vision Express. Following the sale, Patel remained with GrandVision in various roles, including as Global eCommerce Director, until 2023, gaining substantial experience of working at a senior level in a franchise-based business.

Patel also has highly relevant non-executive experience as a director of Pizza Hut UK Limited from 2018 to 2020, and he has also been a Trustee of Oxfam since 2022, bringing significant retail and digital expertise to its Board.
