Tim Hortons UK & Ireland’s COO resigns

Kevin Hydes has been with the company since 2017.

Kevin Hydes has announced that he is resigning from his position as Chief Operating Officer at Tim Hortons UK & Ireland.

“After 7 years, I have decided to hang up my coffee mug and bring to a close my journey at Tim Hortons. Having the opportunity to work with the leadership team and launch this incredible brand in the U.K. has given me huge levels of satisfaction and amazing learning opportunities. I leave the business with some great memories and achievements - from the very first shop in Glasgow to our launch in Northern Ireland, our memorable opening in London and everything in between,” Hydes said.

Hydes praised the team at Tim Hortons and looks forward to the brand’s development and growth.

Before Tim Hortons, Hydes was previously part of Costa Coffee and Whitbread. Hydes said in his LinkedIn post that he will start a “new exciting opportunity in the Autumn”.
