Costa Coffee expands across Wales with four new outlets

The new stores will create over 40 jobs and involve an investment of £1.5m.

Costa Coffee is expanding its presence in Wales, with at least four new stores planned this year.

The first of these has opened at Sainsbury’s Newport Superstore, creating seven jobs.

The Newport outlet offers 60 indoor seats and a range of pastries, operating from 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Saturday and 9:30 am to 4 pm on Sundays.

Further openings are planned in the coming months, including drive-thru locations at Border Retail Park in Wrexham and Buttington Cross in Welshpool, as well as a store at Sainsbury’s Rhyl Superstore this summer.

The new stores are expected to generate more than 40 jobs across Wales and represent an investment of around £1.5m in the region.
