Deliveroo appoints Michael Healy as new general manager

He was the former CMO of The Restaurant Group.

Deliveroo appointed Michael Healy as its new general manager in the Republic of Ireland.

The appointment follows Deliveroo’s announcement of US$575 million financing round, as the company prepares to accelerate its expansion in Ireland and the outer Dublin area with at least 200,000 more households by the end of 2019.

"Consumers are rapidly changing how they buy and eat food. Deliveroo is at the leading edge of responding to these changing needs and I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to be part of this journey,” Healy said

Deliveroo has launched late night delivery in Dublin and is set to introduce a click and collect service later this year.
