MOD Pizza names John Maguire as new President, Steve O'Neill as new VP of Partnerships
The company also announced a series of senior operations promotions.
MOD Pizza announced its present COO John Maguire as the company’s new President and Steve O’Neill as its new VP of Partnerships, effective immediately.
Maguire has been COO since 2018. Prior to joining the pizza company, he was the President and CEO of both Friendly’s Restaurants and Johnny Rockets Group, as well as served as executive VP and COO of Panera Bread.
“John has made an incredible impact since joining MOD, helping to strengthen day-to-day operations across the system, as well as shape the path for our next phase of growth,” MOD Pizza co-founder and CEO Scott Svenson said about his appointment.
Meanwhile, O’Neill, who has been with the company since 2013, will oversee the MOD franchise partnership group in his new post. He had previously worked at Starbucks and The Walt Disney Company,.
The company also announced the following senior operations promotions:
Kristen Driscoll as senior director of Operations Services and Excellence; Mo Chowdhury as senior regional director of Operations in Mid-Atlantic and Florida; James Holguin as senior regional director of operations in California, Arizona and Utah; Aaron Johnson as senior regional director of operations in Texas and Missouri; and Shanna Taylor as senior director of Talent Acquisition and People Systems.
MOD Pizza is currently in over 470 locations worldwide.
