Immedia Group set for SUBWAY roll-out
The company revealed that it had signed a contract with a major global brand with fast food sandwich chain SUBWAY.
It has inked a five year deal with European Independent Purchasing Company Limited (EIPC), a non-profit group owned by SUBWAY franchisees, to supply seven SUBWAY branded in-store music and marketing channels.
SUBWAY Radio will be available to all franchisees in the UK and Republic of Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland and Sweden, representing 3,400 stores.
Immedia said it expects significant 'take up' of the service by franchisees. This will build up into the next financial year as the service is rolled out across the existing stores and new franchises are opened, it added.
Immedia will receive an annual subscription fee per franchisee store and further revenue will also be generated through the supply of equipment, which are required by every SUBWAY store subscribing to the service.
Radio DJ Bruno Brookes, the chief executive and founder of Immedia, said: "We are delighted to be working with the SUBWAY brand and EIPC and look forward to adding a new dimension to the already superb SUBWAY store experience."
