Burger King revenue climbs 30% amidst expansion

This comes after a £20.7m loss in 2022.

Burger King UK reported an operating profit of £13.4m in 2023, a major return on profitability after posting a  £20.7m loss in 2022.

Revenue went up 30% to £381.8m, with like-for-like sales inching up 3%.

The fast-food burger brand attributed its growth to its existing estate and new restaurants. The chain opened 18 new restaurants last year. It also completed the integration of 74 sites bought from franchise operator Karali Group in September 2022.
