
Caffe Nero reports 2.5% like-for-like sales growth
The coffee shop says that they will strive to expand and make a difference for their customers.
Caffe Nero has announced that they had a raise of 2.5% in terms of their like-for-like sales and an increase in group sales by 10% for the 12 months ending May 31.
This is the 82nd consecutive quarter that they’ve had positive like for like sales and EBITDA growths.
The coffee shop’s expansion program have opened up another 75 stores worldwide, having opened 35 in UK. Overall, they have 885 stores.
“Our positive sales performance supports our belief and investment in quality coffee, supporting and growing our people and providing exceptional customer service. We have also continued to reinvest heavily in growing our estate and in maintaining a warm, welcoming and vibrant coffee shop environment,” says Gerry Ford, founder and CEO of Caffe Nero.
“Despite a challenging climate for hospitality, we will continue to grow the business in the right locations and invest where we can continue to make a real difference for our customers.”
