
Caffè Nero sales up 9% YoY to £166m in Q1
Like-for-like sales grew by 6%.
The Nero Group, owner of Caffè Nero, reported record sales of £166m for the first quarter of its financial year (June to August 2025), up 9% from the same period last year.
Like-for-like sales grew by 6%.
In the UK, Caffè Nero recorded quarterly sales of £97m, a 7% increase on last year.
Growth was supported by a sharp rise in iced drink sales, which were up 49% year on year (YoY).
The chain’s new iced matcha drink sold 1.3 million units over the summer.
Sales rose across all markets, with notable gains in Turkey, Sweden, Ireland, the US, the UK, and Cyprus.
The company refurbished 20 stores and opened 13 new locations during the quarter, bringing its total to 1,149 outlets across 11 countries.
