Comptoir Group says annual performance "in line with market expectation"

The company ended the year with 27 managed restaurants and four franchise sites.

Comptoir Group reported that their trading in 2018 was "in line with market expectation", with the expected strong finish to the second half of the year.

The company, which owns and operates Lebanese and Eastern Mediterranean restaurants, opened two additional Comptoir Libanais sites in Birmingham and London Bridge. They also opened its second franchise site with HMS Host in Cheshire Oaks last November.

"The Company retains a strong balance sheet and the Directors continue to be excited by the prospects of the Group," they said in an update.
