Comptoir Group says trading in H1 2019 “in line with management expectations”
Its Board says it will continue to take a “cautious approach” in site selection.
Comptoir Group, the owner and operator of some Lebanese and Eastern Mediterranean restaurants, announced that trading for the 26 weeks to 30 June 2019 was “in line with management expectations” and ahead of the same period in 2018.
“The Board continues to take a cautious approach to selecting new site openings and is exploring multiple opportunities for both organic growth and further franchise opportunities,” the company said in a pre-close trading update.
The company currently operates 25 managed restaurants and four franchise sites, two sites less than their earlier announcement last February.
Comptoir Group said that it retains a “strong” balance sheet and expect to end the year in line with market expectations.
