Domino's completes sale of Swedish business
The move is part of a planned exit from all directly operated international markets.
Domino’s Pizza Group announced that the transaction to offload its Swedish arm PPS Foods was completed last 2 May.
The pizza firm said last month it would pay €2 million (£1.8 million) in cash to Eyja fjárfestingafélag that is controlled by Birgir Bieltvedt, the indirect owner of Domino's franchisee DP Norway.
Domino's Sweden is the master franchisee in the Scandinavian country with 14 stores.
The disposal of the Swedish arm is part of Domino’s Pizza Group’s planned exit from all directly operated international markets in order to focus on the core UK and Ireland operations.
The sale of its Icelandic business, agreed for £13.7 million in March, is expected to be finished this month.
