Domino's franchisees seek £2 million payback over fraudulent transactions: report

The long-running dispute between the two parties continues.

Domino’s UK franchisees have demanded a £2 million payback from the pizza company after being made to pay for a spate of fraudulent transactions on its websites.

The Sunday Times reported that the embattled company has been the victim of organised crime dating back to 2018, when about £2m of illicit transactions were made online.

The Domino’s Franchise Association (DFA), who has been in conflict with the pizza giant since 2016, earlier sought the assistance of accounting giant KPMG to look into the chain’s market and e-commerce funds.

The report noted that the transactions, which were rejected by banks, were pushed on to franchisees.
