Handmade Burger Company goes to administration again, shuts 19 stores

The burger chain first went into administration in July 2017.

Handmade Burger Company went into administration anew, closing 19 stores immediately across the country.

The burger chain first went into administration in July 2017 and had closed nine out of 29 outlets.

Partners from Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery were appointed administrators.

The company was proven to be “unsustainable,” said David Griffiths, one of their administrators, as sales have halved over the past four years.

Handmade Burger Company was founded in Birmingham in 2006.
