Hero Brands on track to achieve £2.5m EBITDA in 2024

Its F&B portfolio brand GDK also delivered £163.7m system-wide sales.

Hero Brands reported a pre-tax profit of £3.8m on 31 December 2023, with dividends of £6m and delivering £2.5m group EBITDA in 2024.

Its headline F&B portfolio brand German Doner Kebab (GDK) also delivered £163.7m system-wide sales during the same period.

GDK opened 19 new restaurants globally during the 2023 financial period and another 16 in 2024, with a more aggressive pipeline secured for 2025.

Moreover, the Glasgow-based group has also partnered with The Sidemen to launch the fried chicken brand, Sides.

Sides has partnered with a UK developer to open 200 stores over the next ten years and aims to launch 40 restaurants in Singapore within the same timeframe.

Hero Brands is a platform for incubating several F&B brands, including GDK, Choppaluna, and Dirty Bones.

It has over 70 restaurants in London across its various brands and over 200 restaurants across the world.
