
Just Eat revenue up by 45% in first half of the year
The food delivery group looks to raise their investments to expand across the globe.
Just Eat Group has reported an increase of 45% (£358.4 million) in revenues and orders up to 30% (£104.4 million) as their first half ended last June 30.
The group’s platforms outside UK, except for Australia and New Zealand, also have huge increases that covers up 49% of the group’s revenues.
The segment in Australia and New Zealand went down to £21.6 million, compared to last year’s £23.6 million, covering an 8% loss.
Canada’s revenues rocketed up to 212% (£73.0 million) while the International segment comprising the countries, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain and Switzerland, raised revenues up to 36% (£81.1 million)

Our increased investments in technology, brand and delivery are on track to make our service even easier to use, whilst expanding our customer’s choice. I’m pleased with the strong start to the year and excited by our opportunity to help many more people enjoy more of their takeaway moments through our platforms," said Peter Plumb, the group’s CEO.
The company is also currently focusing on its major investment in Capital Markets Day where they aim to unlock the £57 million market, adding by £26 million in Latin America with their associate iFood.
