
KFC takes down TV ad after ASA complaint
The advertising authority said that the ad “encouraged an unsafe practice”.
KFC took down their TV ad that shows a woman dancing on a roof in a flexible manner after the Advertising Standards Authority brought to their attention that the ad “encouraged an unsafe practice”.
ASA also pointed out the that product they were promoting is high in fat, salt or sugar, which is discouraged to be shown to minors. The chicken chain explained that they were trying to incorporate the “living bonelessly” philosophy in one of their products.
KFC promised that the such ads won’t be used again.
