Globally, KFC like-for-like sales in the quarter increased 6% with US like-for-like sales up 2% – system sales worldwide rose 5%. Operating margin meanwhile increased 8.6%, driven by refranchising, like-for-like sales growth and net new site growth.
During the period, KFC opened 331 restaurants in 54 countries.
