New Pret A Manger owner JAB raising 5 billion euros for fund
The investment company is also the owner of Panera Bread and Krispy Kreme.
JAB Holding Co. is reportedly close to collecting about 5 billion euros in its latest round of fundraising, according to Bloomberg Quint sources.
Some investment banks, including HSBC Holdings Plc, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Deutsche Bank AG and Morgan Stanley, are supposedly allocating amounts ranging from about 50 million euros to 150 million euros.
JAB Holding Co. is the owner of Panera Bread, Krispy Kreme, Au Bon Pain and most recently, Pret A Manger.

According to the sources, about 60 investors have contributed after the investment company reached out to potential stakeholders. However, JAB found the response from some potential investors to be “more lukewarm” than expected following the firm’s recent acquisitions.
