Operator of Franco Manca and The Real Greek reports 20% revenue growth for HY19
The company’s growth is said to be driven by new openings and adding vegan and gluten-free options.
The Fulham Store, the operator of the Franco Manca and The Real Greek, has announced that their revenues grew 20% to £33.0 million as compared to last year’s £27.5 million.
EBITDA also went up to £4.1 million from £3.3 million. Post-tax profit is at £0.9m, up from £0.6 million last year.
Net debt this period is at £8.9 million, which saw a decrease from £9.7 million. Chairman of The Fulham Store David Page said that the company’s growth is driven by a number of factors including the addition of vegan and gluten free options.
“[W]e have remained resolutely focussed on both Franco Manca’s and The Real Greek’s stand out characteristics: exceptional food provenance and outstanding value for money menu pricing,” Page said.
“During the current financial year to date we have seen sales and profit growth, improved operating cash flow, and reduced debt exposure for the Group. These factors, together with our successful new opening so far this year, have led us to consider increasing our opening programme beyond the current financial year,” he added.
