PizzaExpress' £1 billion debt brings up talks as the next possible high street casualty: report
£650 million of the debt is due for repayment in the next three years.
PizzaExpress is being feared as high street’s next casualty as industry sources are said to have raised concerns over the pizza chain’s financial status.
According to a report in The Daily Mail, the pizza chain revealed in their FY17 financial results that they have a debt amounting to more than £1 billion, £650 million of which is due for repayment over the next three years.
