Plan Burrito cites "unfortunate events" for Leicester site closure

They hope to use lessons learned from the closure in their expansion plans.

Plan Burrito has cited "unfortunate events" for the closure of its Leicester shop last August.

"The owners of the store...could not give the shop and staff the time needed to make sure it was running to the high standards that our other 2 stores in Loughborough had set. Therefore to protect the quality of the brand, we advised the owners to close it down," Plan Burrito director Stephen Hopper told QSR Media.

Hopper has mentioned however that they are still "very keen" for expansion.

"Going forward we have made changes to our operations manual to ensure these things don’t happen again," he added.
