Pret A Manger franchisee nabs £1.2m funding package from HSBC
They plan to use the funds to open four more branches.
The Chesterford Group, a franchisee of Pret A Manger, secured a £1.2m funding package from HSBC UK, a report by Bishop’s Stortford Independent said.
The fresh funds will be used to boost the group’s growth plans for Pret A Manger, with the aim to open four restaurants. Part of the deal for TCG was the purchase of four existing Pret restaurants, two in Cambridge and one in Chelmsford and St Albans.
The group said it plans to open 25 Pret shops in the next five years.
