
Shake Shack reports pre-tax loss of £7.7 million in FY17
The results are said to have been "within expectations".
Shake Shack's UK operator Diverse Dining has announced their financial results for the financial year ended last December 31, 2017 with pre-tax loss of £7.7 million.
Their revenues rocketed 99% up to £21.4 million from last year’s £10.8 million. Gross profit also grew 62.9% to £13.5 million from £6.9 million.
The results are said to have been “within expectations” and will continue to expand in the UK.
Diverse Dining Ltd is overseen by parent company Assaad Food and Beverage, an overseas firm based in Lebanon. Currently, there are currently nine Shake Shack sites operating in the UK with eight being in London.
