Whitbread divests shares in healthy food chain Pure

Whitbread first acquired stakes in the chain in 2016.

Hospitality group Whitbread has sold its 49% stake in Pure.

Pure is a food-led grab-and-go and online delivery concept, that specialises in fresh, natural healthy meals made individually for the customer.  

When Whitbread first bought shares in Pure it had eight outlets in operation. It currently has 17 cafés in London and Gatwick Airport, as well as two delivery kitchens.
